Individual right?
The curtains are old and may be replaced eventually, but the room has two sets of French windows, so they'll need to be custom made and won't come cheap.
The carpet is kind of speckled grey/ heather colour, was new just before lockdown and the plan was for silver/grey to go with it, but life has changed immeasurably since then.
The chair is a brown leather fireside chair which was late DH's favourite. There's no question of it being changed or recovered.
It's a small room with large windows n two aspects overlooking the garden. It had been a playroom when DC were young and was going to become a gaming room, but now all of a sudden there's only me in the house and all the games consoles have gone!
I have the idea of it being a lovely peaceful sanctuary/reading room looking out at the garden.
What, if anything can I do to pull these "pieces" together.
