What colour armchair in this kitchen?

We have recently moved into a house with a massive (to us!) Kitchen diner. It has a
greyish- Sage green cabinated, black work surfaces, wooden floor, an oak table and chairs ith brown leather seats. We also have a wood burner, I I think space for an armchair.
What colours will Tobe /compliment everything else in there?

Also need some place mats if anyone has inspiration?!

I would go with an earthy colour - off white/beige or a sagey green. Preferably something with loose stubby/linen covers that can be washed to suit the country kitchen vibe.

I would either go teddy material as I love it or go ultra bright with a contrast.

Something tweedy maybe? Or totally over-the-top chintz with big blowsy pink roses or peonies.

We got the idea when the sofa had to live in there for a bit as we couldn't get it into the living room!
