I want candles that smell lovely in my home, like Joe Malone fragrances but my husband moans that he is
Allergic to anything I try! What could I use that's mildly scented so it makes me feel happy but he won't notice or not be full of chemicals that will set him off?!

Lidl have some lovely ones in at the moment! They burn very quickly but smell really nice, yet subtle, while burning.

They are horribly allergy-causing and result in awful air quality so I am siding with your DH.

Look for soy wax and essential oil based candles.

I've found even the £100+ ones give me an awful headache so I'm banning them in our house from now. Trouble is my DH loves them 🙄

Essential oil diffuser?

lovemycottage · 01/05/2023 13:48

You can try essential oils.

LTB!

Joke, how about wiping paintwork with some diluted fabric conditioner?

St Eval. Really nice natural fragrances. Much much nicer than Jo Malone.

Valentte.Have a look at their website. All natural soy and oils and they smell like a fresh clean house.
