Wall colour for victorian living room

We're decorating our 1860s (listed) Victorian house. The living room has a hard wood floor in a warm tone - looks like reclaimed oak but not 100% sure. It's not the original floorboards but it's nicely done and we're happy to keep.

We have a some Danish midcentury furniture which is upholstered in olive green fabric and will be looking for another sofa in a colour palette that complements this.

What colours would you suggest for the walls to go with this olive / warm toned wood?

There is a picture rail and a dado rail. Not sure whether to ignore these.

(The stairs and halls are F&B School House White, bedrooms still deciding but we are looking at various light green / blue from Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library for them).

I would go either setting plaster or a sulking room pink. Complements olive upholstery really well and is a good bridge between Victorian and mid-century.
