Best blue for bedroom with white furniture?

Hi all,

Hoping you can help with some inspiration!

We’re about to get our bedroom painted and we know we want a blue but we’re not sure which blue. The room is medium sized (easily fits king bed, 2 bedside tables, wardrobe, desk etc with a fireplace) and has two large windows on one side. The room is south facing with plenty of light and we have mainly white furniture including a IKEA malm ottoman bed which we will likely keep, so were thinking a medium to dark blue to contrast with this.

The decorator we’re using has suggested going with Dulux, Crown or Little Green, or if there’s a F&B colour we like they can match that.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

We have Farrow and Ball Lulworth Blue with white furniture in our spare room. Everyone seems to really like it. The room is north facing and yet this shade of blue feels almost warm rather than cool, if that makes sense.

Dulux denim drift is very popular. But I love the classiness of lulworth blue as recommended by PP.

I really like Craig and Rose Flanders Blue. We have it in our bathroom and it doesn't make the bathroom feel cold at all.

I’m trying to choose a blue at the moment for one of my bedrooms. So can’t help you with regards to which shade.

the only thing I’ll definitely be doing is going with Little Greene. Way better than F&B. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth it.

I have a very similar dulux shade with white furniture. It reminds me of the Wedgwood colours that my mum used to like.

F&B stiffkey blue.
Don't colour match they really aren't that good. Don't look the same at all once on the wall. Just find one that you like and can afford and go for it

We have (dulux) F+B Stone blue in our bedroom and I love it. It looks slightly different depending on the light so it's always interesting and is a really calming, warm blue.
