Corian Worktop Repair

Our pale cream corian worktop is now 9 years old and has developed quite a long crack running from the hob. Has anyone successfully had Corian repaired or am I looking at ripping it out and replacing. 😢

You can repair Corian - takes quite a lot of work though. It involves cutting, piecing in, gluing and polishing. Lots of polishing. If your worktop is 9 years old then you may have issues trying to get a colour match, and if you do, as it won't be from the same batch there would more than likely be a shade variation. We work with solid surfacing a lot at (although not kitchens), there are many different products that are virtually the same albeit different brand names that are just as good if not better than Corian and more reasonably priced.
