Best place to buy a bed

Im after a queen size bed for my little boy ideally with storage underneath. Havent bought a new bed for years. Any recommendations of where to go? Id rather pay more for one that will last. Sick of spending loads of money on stuff though and it be rubbish quality.

John Lewis, definitely not cheap but they do excellent mattresses

Ours come from IKEA, Dreams, Argos, Tesco, John Lewis & M&S. There's an extent to which you get what you pay for but the Tesco one is the sturdiest of the lot. I just tend to do an online search and see what's most appropriate. With both the M&S and IKEA one, we had fairly specific needs so they were the only ones which met the brief. The others are more standard. Some are 15+ years old so we've replaced the mattresses

Our ottoman beds from ikea are fabulous. Not sure if they do queen sized but worth a look.

It is a small family run business. We found the quality,service and price was excellent.

We bought one earlier from John lewis which was more than double the price and not as good quality.

I'd recommend Benson's for Beds - we recently looked around all the bed shops for a double for our son. They had a good choice, good customer service, good prices... and the bed is fab. Lovely quality.
