I’ve found something I love from OKA but Trustpilot reviews all bad - should I avoid the company? Any personal experience?? Thanks!

It is really poor quality for the price. Particularly the wooden furniture when compared to similarly priced antiques. Shame, because some of the pieces look great and the styling in the shops/ images is always really good. Lighting and cushions are good.

Oh that’s a shame. Thanks for commenting though

Can’t comment on the furniture but we have several of their cushions and they’re lovely. Delivery v straightforward too.

Thanks

All the stuff looks beautiful and the styling is lovely but it all seems to be 3 times the price it would be anywhere else. Post what you’ve seen and we can see if we can find similar elsewhere?

Thanks! This is the table and bench below we were looking at. The major selling point is its water/ stain proof ie kid proof and I can’t find similar but would definitely like a smaller price tag. Thanks!

If you’ve had chance to see it in store, the quality should be okay for furniture like that. They have 20% off quite frequently if you sign up for emails.

Lamps and mirrors are really excellent quality but all is expensive

Thank you 😊

I know where they get some of their smaller items via a wholesaler.
Their mark ups are 🤯🤯🤯.

Sadly, it doesn’t include the bigger stuff or lighting.

Their image and styling are excellent, but they give almost no trade discount.

I used to go to their outlet shop. The small stuff was ok but expensive. I still have cushions from 15 years ago.
I think if you look around you can find similar looking furniture for less. Try eBay or Etsy for ideas or even someone local to you.

I've been to their outlet too and wasn't too impressed with the quality of the big prices for the prices

Having looked round their showrooms my conclusion is that the items with moving parts (eg chest of drawers or cabinet with doors) are not top quality, there seemed to be a lot of wonky doors or runners not working.

However the non moving items were nice. But super pricey.

I am wondering how they have managed to make the bench and table stain proof? How is it different from all the other wooden tables out there? We have a wooden dining table which is a similar greyed colour and it definitely stains!

Oh I see, it’s resin sealed. That seems to be pretty unusual tbh... plenty of tables this style around, for less, but not resin sealed.
