Painting the front door

But on the inside? Is that a thing? We have a blue front door, but the other side is white and looks a bit grubby. Has anyone ever painted it a different colour? Grey or black maybe. Or just refresh it and paint it white.

I've left mine white insode but I am thinking about doing the same thing.

Ours is blue I hate it, it said navy on the tin. It's like Tesco value blue

Is it already painted? In which case, yes, paint it white or another colour if it needs it. I think I’m missing something though!

Sorry, I’ve not explained it very well! I mean looking at the front door from the inside. It’s already white, but because it’s looking grubby, I was wondering whether to paint it another darker colour or if it would look daft.

You can always paint it back.

Mine's brick red inside and out. It was white on the inside but I really like the red now.

mine was white on the inside and I painted it bright pink. Cheers me up daily.

We're considering this, door is natural wood but looks dark and boring. Hall is parquet wood floor, white walls and Emma Shipley wallpaper Lost World in green. Have got a green colour matched with a bit on the wallpaper and going to try it once I find where I put the paint! Just doing several layers of undercoat

They both sound great! My walls are a very safe Egyptian cotton. I think a darker door might look better. Worst thing that happens is I repaint it white again!
