I wfh almost full time (occasional trips to the office, once a month or so) in the smallest bedroom (no bed in it, just desk, chair etc).
Currently the flooring upstairs is laminate, ever since we moved in years ago. Finally, we are getting around to laying carpets upstairs in the bedrooms and landing/stairs but I am wondering what is the best flooring for the office, given the wheelie chair which would not move so well on carpet and also carpet would become worn more quickly.
What have others done if using a bedroom as a home office? I am thinking might carpet tiles i.e. a shorter pile, be better for the office and hope to pretty much match the carpet on the landing, wouldn't want it to look too different.
Any thoughts / recommendations?
