Hi, I am having some decorating done so am emptying the lounge ready for painting
The room has evolved as kids got older, we now have two sofas as can't all three strewth out on one like we used to (can't afford to sell and replace with corner sofas, non driver so picking up nice second hand ones is difficult)
Rescue dog has a cage as advised by the charity for a 'safe space' to retreat to and tbf dog uses it a lot , especially when things like house refurbishment happening!
Along with most of the nation, my lounge also now doubles up as my home office.
All these changes have really decimated the space and it feels soclutteredd i hate .
I like to keep the work desk behind the door in a corner so im not reminded of it all day every day when im not working.
the current layout means that my workspace is split in two separate places, with desk one side of dining table and work shelf/ stirage , photocopier etc other side of dining table.
have to gave specific desk for disability needs and it doesn't feature shelves or space for paperwork or peripherals.
I also have disabilities and my and my kids are all neurodiverse with lots of adhd and we all struggle with organisation, my physical limitations make it hard too, so everything just piles up.
Have already got rid of loads in preparation for the painter but I would really like to have a plan for best use of the space before we settle back into the mayhem of our current lounge
Was thinking could draw a scaled down pic and share it here for advice, do people do that?
If not does anyone know of an app/ website where I could do this and get some ideas re furniture placement?
Thanks
