Dining chairs

I need 6 x dining chairs for my table and have three children, youngest are 4yo and 2yo. I'm undecided between brown faux leather or bucket style and not sure on which colour either for bucket. My home is pretty vanilla and the table is timber so I don't need to keep in a certain style but not sure if these are dated choices or just a bad choice? Not sure how I'd clean crumbs out of bucket style. I'm really out of touch and would love any comments you have and preference pls. Thank you

I prefer the bucket ones but probably the brown is more practical. I have cream faux leather bar stools in the kitchen, they are wearing quite a lot cos I have to keep wiping off sticky marks. Plus dd got pen on one, argh.

i expect I’ll have to replace them all in in a few years when the kids are bigger

@tellmewhichone I would n ot give a flying hoot about trendy or not I have had dining chairs in a washable faux suede lime green fabric - for 15 years - still love them - no idea whether on trend or not nowadays and don't really mind Buy what you like and does the job - All best

No worries - I was after the general opinion of others. If one marked more than others, wore better, etc

We bought these 20 years ago - they were quite a bit cheaper then.
They have been great chairs. And yes, we just wipe any crumbs off

@tellmewhichone in which case the washable faux suede can be cleaned and is robust - v practical and comes in lots of colours All best

My kids are still upset a year later that I got rid of our very comfy and easy to keep clean faux leather rollback dining chairs. The replacements from next look okay but are a nightmare for crumbs mostly due to my youngest who has reached double digits! I think it depends how the seams are.
