Dining room bay ideas (with photo)

Looking for some inspiration for something to go in this bay. Contemplating a piano that we are being given, but looking for other ideas!

Looks to me like it is crying out for a built in padded window seat with storage.

I did consider this, although we currently have one in our bedroom bay that I can't wait to rip out!

I agree with @Chewbecca I think a piano would block some of the natural light from the window.

a desk?

I'd have a couple of BIG pot plants and treat the area as a mini-greenhouse. you can buy plants small and pot them up in big pots and they will grow pretty quickly.
