I was not expecting a google image search to work but...

I did the eye thing on the photos and got nothing!

Thanks so much; that's brilliant!

Now I just need to find a supplier!

The tineye image search didn't work but images.google.co.uk did.

it then took a bit of finding on the page it sent me to though!

Ouch. Pick out one of the colours and have plain curtains with a trim and some cushions?

What do you think of this kitchen colour www.instagram.com/reel/CguQ2mRqDp8/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

And I have this on a chair thinking about Egyptian cotton on the walls

I'm not a fan but 1) I don't really like dark coloured kitchens 2) it's not my kind of colour anyway 3) it's not my kitchen. 🙂

I appreciate your honesty 😊😉

Sorry if I'm totally honest it reminds me of the avocado bathrooms of the 80s, and I only ever saw them from the late 90s onwards when they were tired out, filthy, and the chrome bits were rusting away. Usually paired with a manky bathroom carpet. I think the sage green look for kitchens is much nicer.

If you’re making the curtains yourself (or paying to have them made), you could try visiting some fabric outlets where they sell fabric end of rolls very cheaply.

I’m in Ireland and my nearest one sells all their curtain and upholstery fabric at €5 a metre. You can find some beautiful fabrics that would be seriously pricey originally. I often make bags with the stuff I buy.

KatyMac · 18/01/2023 21:42

I totally get that @ReamsOfCheese we had turquoise with those white tiles with the thread veins on - but if you look at my original fabric, sage is not going to work for me is it?

I will be making the @corcaithecat & I was just discussing with FD that I might actually have a suitable roll end in my studio...I need to find it and do some colour matching I think

It's very much a case of personal taste 😂

I suspect mine is very, very dull!

Love Bancha! I love strong dark colours so soothing and comforting

KatyMac · 19/01/2023 09:01

Me too @applespearsbears

DH is against a very light worktop, so I am dithering about colour - any suggestions?
