Any recommendations please! Replaced ours about 4 years ago but really not happy with them - uncomfortable!

Sofas and stuff. Absolute heaven

Tetrad. Variety of styles so something to suit most tastes in their range. Very comfy & nice fabrics. We’ve got a cord one and a velvet/moleskin type one.

We know someone with a new IKEA Gronlid sofa and footstool and were amazed by how comfy it was, really deep seats and the footstool is really big and quite high which is what seems to really make it. It's definitely not one that would have stood out to me on looking at it but it's so much more comfortable than our Made.com Orson and about half the price as well, we're definitely considered it for our next one.

I think you need to go round sofa showrooms and sit on them in person. I’ve been doing this recently and every company I’ve tried seems to have some which are comfy and some not, so impossible to recommend a brand.

Darlings of Chelsea, Arlo & Jacob, sofa.com and Love your home have a decent number of comfy designs. But the odd one or two that aren’t. Sofas & stuff some are comfy some aren’t. Swyft - every single one I tried was uncomfy. Swoon not very comfy. Loaf are very squishy, so comfy until you try getting up (also need lots of plumping) plus many are too low/deep for me.

The classic Ikea sofa with the rounded arms (Ektorp I think) is very comfy.

Thank you all - the search has started! Not successful so far though!

Used to have Tetrad ones ( think Alicia ) , not the trendiest but oh so comfy, they were divine but wished looked more modern. Feather filled cushions need plumping but they gave you the nice seating /snuggeling feel.
Love your Home ( gorgeous showroom ) Jude is on my to buy list, has a similar feel.
Also had Ikea Södehamn, not so squishy yet comfortable.
