Office/gaming chair that's aesthetically pleasing

Looking for a chair to replace DS's ancient falling to bits gaming chair.

He's said he wants something that looks less gaming and more grown up. His gaming PC is in the family room so I'm hoping I can find something that will be a bit more aesthetically pleasing that the hideous one I have put up with for years.

Annoyingly he has turned his nose up at the vintage eames office chair we have. 🙄

He wants something with a headrest.

Anyone seen anything?

Well I searched for ages and ages in lockdown for the same thing - comfortable and not ugly - and also ended up with a vintage Eames chair which is no help to you i know. Let me know if you do end up finding something better out there.

I got DS a nice one from eBay for Christmas. It's plain black 'leather' and very comfortable. No head rest though.

I feel your pain, so hard to find nice office chairs (with the exception of Vitra) and not sure there actually is such a thing as an attractive office / gaming chair with a headrest. It will probably be a case of 'least offensive' rather than 'aesthetically pleasing'.
One of the better looking chairs I've come across is the Ikea JÄRVFJÄLLET:

We also ended up buying Vitra chairs in the end, so haven't actually tried or seen the Ikea one in person.
