Fairy lights in a glass vase?

Is it safe to have a set of confetti mains fairy lights in a glass vase or are they at risk of over heating?! I can’t be arsed with charging or replacing battery ones so mains would be better!!

It says they’re LED so they’re probably fine - LEDs don’t get hot.

But you’ll have a wire draping over the top of the vase to plug them in, so I’d go for battery ones if you want to hide the wire.
