Replace bathtub with walk in shower - ballpark costs?

I want to replace my bathtub with a basic walk in shower, and tile the shower area, and the 2 x 3m bathroom floor (tiny bathroom!).

This feels like a 4 day job? How much do you think this should cost? I'm in the SE.

£4k plus materials.

I paid £7 for a smallish bathroom with bath recently.

£7k that is, in East London

We are in the NW and it cost €6 to replace our bathroom, fully tile. We went for stock items from the supplier to avoid supply chain issues. Dearest items were the tiles, so a lot can be saved there by shopping around and not getting fixated on a more expensive tile with a slightly different finish. The mirror cost more than any other single item. We have one main bathroom and 2 ensuites which have all been done now. I think it is worth spending extra on a power shower to get a better showering experience. And on all 3 we went for plastic panels covering the ceiling with inset spot lights. Looks very neat and means we will have no decorating in any of the rooms.

I am an OT was told in supervision this week £8 to £9 thousand- it has gone up unfortunately. We are south east but very low income part of south east.

We’ve just done this exact same thing. £4k labour plus around £3k materials inc tiles, glass, new vanity etc. we could have saved on tiles, and we went with black fittings which were more expensive than same in chrome

Thank you - that's super helpful and puts the quotes I've had in context.
