Colours to go with these curtains?

If you were styling a room with this fabric what colour would you use for walls and bedding?

I'd have to go neutral. They're so dominant in colour, print and impact that any other colour would fight with them. So take the gold colour, turn it into a neutral shade and take it down a few notches in tone.

Wow! I love them. Agree with PP! Minimal amount of teal inserted here or there if you need some.

If you get the matching cushions that will pull it all together.

I love that pattern and the whole Art Deco era. I will say, I previously had bold curtains (much bolder than yours) and I changed them for a more neutral curtain so that I cold have a wider range of bedding to choose from. But that said, the pattern is basically only two colours and I think these do offer a range of colours from pale or soft reds, oranges, pinks, yellows. I think blues and greens would be out unless you could find things where the colour is picked up minimally. I wouldn't choose white with your curtains, they have a romantic look to them that I think calls for warm furnishings.

I'd go rusty orange deep mustardy yellow to bring out the gold tones
