Grey carpet

We're moving into a new build soon and didn't get to choose any of the colours. The living room carpet is mid grey, and I'm hopeless on colours and would like suggestions on what colour sofa to get? And wall colours.

I was hoping for teal but don't think it will work.

I love Middle Eastern colours but don't think they will work either. I could change it but as it's brand new it feels like such a waste.

Please can someone help with colour ideas?

Teal sounds nice with grey, ochre would look nice too, most colours would go nice with grey, have fun choosing. Good luck with the move.

I would go for a navy/dark blue sofa. Like PP said most colours would go with grey
