How would you brighten up this bathroom?

Not long bought the house and the bathroom is ok but everything is white!

It's floor to ceiling white subway tiles, white vanity, white shower bath and toilet, silver infinity type shower and waterfall taps. Grey slate tiled floor, silver towel rail.

It's not my taste but too good to replace right now and not a priority.

I've deep cleaned it and sorted the yellowing grout so it's even whiter. There's a few plants in there now but I'm finding it very clinical.

How can I brighten it up?

Lovely colourful towels? I have Missoni-style stripes and pick one of the colours out for matching bathmat, hand towel etc.

Candle/reed diffuser and pretty toiletries.

Brightly coloured towels and matching bath mat? Wicker baskets wherever they will fit and fill them with soaps and bath bombs. Some seashells maybe.

If all else fails go into The Range and buy some of their foot-high lighthouse / seagull ornaments.

Colourful towels, plants, maybe change the loo seat?

I'd add some bamboo accessories to give a more earthy feel. Circular bamboo mirror, wooden bath tray, plant pots, wicker baskets and nice candles on the window sill if you have one. This should make it less clinical combined with the plants.

Thanks all, wicker/bamboo is a great idea.

Love that toilet seat @Puppypads but I've already replaced the toilet seat. It's one of those D shaped toilets and the only colour option that would fit was bloody white!
