What colour to paint

I painted this room before we put the furniture in, unintentionally the furniture is the exact same colour as the walls and to me it just dosnt look right. I'm thinking of keeping the scallops but changing the colour but to what. And if anyone knows of a way to play with colours online or an app or something tried the dulux app but it didn't work because it's half and half

I think it really works and looks lovely. If I were to do anything there, I’d chalk paint the carpet blue.

I like it as it is too.

How did you get the scallops so neat?

I would leave it as it is; it looks great.

Frog taped the wall all the way round at the same height, painted that all pink. Once that's dry. I made a template out of a folded piece of card and drew around it with a pink pencil, untill I had all my scallops drawn out, then I bought a good quality artist paint brush from the range and very slowly painted the outline of each scallop and then with a normal paint brush filled it in, had to do that twice to get the coverage. It's a long winded job so if you're gonna do it give you're self a few hours

I’d leave it just as it is, it looks great and loads of effort to change it.
