Kitchen and utility, please help me with wall colour

My kitchen has big shiny cream tiles (a shit to keep clean), high gloss white doors, wooden worktop.

Utility room is same. Both are pained with a feature wall of grey slate and other walls light grey.

Is this look dated now? Been like it for a couple of years.

What colour would you paint it? I am stuck, brain will not come up with any ideas! I like modern contemporary but homely looks if that makes sense!

Thank you 😁

green?

Yes green is a good suggestion, or a sort of brick red? There's a nice one from Lick

How big is the room and how much light does it get?

I would be tempted by light yellow or sky blue

I'm moving to a similar sounding kitchen but with dark worktops. I'm going with either a deep forest green, or a slightly brighter jungle green. I used to be scared of bold colours but after braving dark blue in the bedroom a few years ago I've been converted. I also quite enjoy my DH's alarm when he first sees a tester painted on the wall.

They are great suggestions, thank you all
