Toddler seat..armchair, beanbag, play sofa?

I would like to get my nearly 20 month old some comfy seating of their own in the lounge area.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or experience of what their little ones liked to sit on.

I was thinking of a toddler armchair but haven’t seen any that look good, most seem to have bad reviews re size etc. I wondered if she would prefer a beanbag or even one of these little play sofas with different shape cushions (nugget or possum or something I think they are called), though they’d take up more room.

I was thinking of getting DS (nearly 2) a Big Bertha beanbag. He’s a big 2, so wasn’t going to get a toddler one, but want to get him something comfy as a little chill out reading area.

I think a beanbag as it will last much better than something toddler specific

A mini rocking chair would be popular but might drive you mad!

We bought DS a little armchair and footstool from dunelm (I think) when he was about 18 months. He's now 3.5 and still loves it. He also uses the separate footstool as a little table too. It's fine size wise - my friend's DS can easily fit in it and he's 5 or 6. I can also fit in the chair if I so want!

Oh we also have a little Egg chair from IKEA. DS loves that he can make a little den in there by pulling the cover down but it doesn't get that much sitting in.

My ds has had one of these types of beanbag armchair for a few years now and still loves it. I choose to sit in it too rather than on the sofa!

We have the possum play couch. It's amazing and gets used so much but it's massive. IKEA have quite a few little armchairs including the kiddy version of the Poang one which my mum has and the kids love sitting in.

Mine has a toddler armchair - a Hey Duggee one from Aldi. He loves it! So would definitely recommend one as a concept.
