Dark blue or neutrals

Lounge/dining room. Wooden floor. Big windows but not very bright. Navy sofas. Teak dining table.

Going round in circles with this. It’s the last room to do then I’ve done the whole house yay! All other rooms are pale colours so they kind of flow. But I’m stuck on this one.

Neutral (something like shaded white f and b) would suit the room but doesn’t look good against the sofas and makes the table look very orange. Dark blue (Hague blue) will look cosy I’m sure but the big patch I’ve painted seems to suck the light out and be strangely dull.

I can’t buy any more samples, it’s just embarrassing now! So looking for any ideas or comments? Anything at all.

logically too I know that the blue will be a bugger to paint over if I hate it!

Depending on the exact shade of navy your sofa is, perhaps the colours in either of these images might work? pin.it/bFONW4e

Something like F&B Oval Room Blue perhaps? In our kitchen we have a dark teal sofa plus iroko (teak) worktops and our lower cabinets including the island are Oval Room Blue.

you could do a plaster pink (mines actually a shade of grey according to valspar) as a warm neutral. I did our bedroom in that scheme and I love it.
