Will it be too shiny?

I wanted to paint my new doors in an eggshell paint but every colour I look at seems to only be available in satin wood. I don’t like anything too shiny and all my walls are eggshell. Just wondering what paint type other people have gone for.
i think I’m imagining a shiny gloss which I definitely don’t want, maybe that’s why I’m worrying
can I see any pics or please tell me about yours, especially if you’ve gone for a colour other than white

it’s my first house and I don’t really know what I’m doing!

Satinwood IS eggshell, isn't it?

Gloss is just that, gloss.

Eggshell is usually what you'd paint woodwork, not walls (which are usually described as Matt or Satin).

I also think satinwood = eggshell, pretty much? It's certainly not full gloss.

Go for satinwood, it won't be shiny, it'll be a smooth texture with a flat finish. Gloss will be shiny, smooth and with a shiny finish

Ok that’s reassuring
I seem to be able to find white in eggshell and satinwood, leading me to think they were different. But the colour I want isn’t available in eggshell.

Thanks, I’ve been dithering for two days!

Just to add, I believe satinwood is more hard-wearing than eggshell, but gives the same result visually. All my internal doors are satinwood and nicely matte.
