Threshold strip and flooring

I have a through lounge, the kitchen door is at the French doors end of it, where the dining table sits. I want to cut the carpet off before the kitchen door using a threshold strip, and run flooring from the dining room part into the kitchen, where there is ceramic tiling.

Question is..who do I get to do this, a builder or floor layer?

In my experience whoever is laying your flooring should be able to provide and lay a threshold strip to finish it off. Just ask when you are buying your flooring that it be included in the job.
