Help me find the perfect off white

Looking for the perfect off white for our bedroom. It's dual aspect North/West facing, small windows so quite a dark room.

I want a vintage looking off white / cream that will stand out against the white woodwork. Don't want any grey tones, there has to be some warmth.

I've tested Dulux Timeless - nice, but looks too white. I can see that it's creamier than PBW, but there's not quite enough of a difference.
Natural calico - too yellow/dark
Nutmeg white - too pink/dark
Summer linen - too beige

So something with just a bit more oomph than timeless. Doesn't have to be dulux

I came on to say timeless. We have it on a few walls and it is genuinely a warm white but not yellow, no grey undertones. Only white I've found like that

Shirting from Little Greene? Or their Loft White (it’s white, but not bright white).

I'm about to use school house white, the sample looks a nice warm cream, definitely not grey

Another vote for Wimborne White. A very soft warm white that's just slightly brighter than Timeless.

I also agree with f & b Wimborne white or pointing.

We had www.dulux.co.uk/en/colour-details/pebble-shore
Was only saying to my husband this morning how happy I am with the off-white shade.

I looked at so many of the shades mentioned here and had the same requirements as OP. Went for Dulux Almond white and it's ideal. Warm and creamy but not too magnolia-like.

Discoh · 20/11/2022 22:07

Thanks. Haven't tried Almond white yet.

Jasmine white turned out to be barely distinguishable from timeless on the wall...slightly brighter and timeless looked like it had a slight grey undertone next to it.

We had a room like that in our last house. Try dropping the shade to a darker cream, such as F and B shadow white or slipper satin. Or school house white. I think we used a Crown colour called Cafe Cream, but that was year ago. The undertone is a brown cream.

You must be joking right?
Pebble shore is a mid grey, not a white with a hint of colour

@JungleBellsHoHoHo looks pretty white in our house, although room is very spacious with lots of light (windows) so maybe that’s why it isn’t dark. You only notice it’s not white if you look where it meets the ceiling which is painted white.
