Painting very high walls, recommendation for best tool

Hi all
I need to paint a very high wall, it's along the stairs so can't use a ladder. Looking at things on a stick we could use to reach, like a paintbrush or paint pad on a stick. Seen lots of types, wondering if anyone can recommend one they've used which has worked well and done a neat finish where the wall meets the ceiling

Thanks!!

I'd hire a combo ladder for the stairs. Will probably do a much better job.

You have to climb up and cut in whatever you use.

B&q sell a extendable roller for about £18, we recently purchased a property with a very high vaulted ceiling, the extendable roller and a 3mtr hired caged platform did the job.

@DrAliceHamilton was it very sturdy? Our stairs are pretty steep and straight up

@Roselilly36 have you got a link to the type of cage you mean? I haven't come across those

We hired from HSS, they have every platform known to man.

We had builders in lately and I think they had a wide ladder up against a step one end and the stairwell wall the other end, then a plank type platform across from a higher step to slot in with the ladder, making a level platform. If that makes sense?

Otherwise a roller on an extendable pole is your friend.
