How big are your drawers?

What width kitchen units do you have for your pan drawers? I'm starting to look at the diy kitchens planner and keep being stumped by all the options. New kitchen going in new extension so plenty of space but equally I don't want to put massive units in if it's not necessary and waste space.

Any other advice on kitchen planning also welcome!

Mine are 800mm, from DIY Kitchens. The planner is fun once you get used to it. There's a really good Facebook group dedicated to all things DIY Kitchens. Lots of advice, photos and customer experiences on there. www.facebook.com/groups/381845813632207/?ref=share

1000mm (Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch). We use ours for baking stuff including mixing bowls, pyrex, cake tins and small appliances as our pans hang on a batterie de cuisine and plates etc are on open shelves in the island. I love the size and depth of the drawers.

I've just counted and the kitchen has 22 drawers in various sizes, 600mm, 800mm and 1000mm drawers. Drawers under the hob for the pans are 800mm. Wouldn't go for smaller that for pans. I love the drawers as they hold so much and everything is so accessible.

Yep @Cherubimbum we have a similar number of drawers (24 here) and wouldn't be without them! So easy to access stuff from casserole dishes to tablecloths to dog food!
