Hard wearing (and cat proof) sofa recommendations please

Looking for recommendations for a cat proof (scratchy cats….) and hard wearing sofa please. I have 2 very young children as well (so smooshed bananas, slobber, accidental spillage are expected, something easy to clean would be fab)

or feel free to tell me because I have young kids and cats I might as well get a cheap sofa and accept that it will look crap until my kids are grown and then get a lovely velvet sofa which is apparently more cat proof than others

If they refuse to use scratching posts/mats the best option is regular trimming of claws.

Velvet, though maybe not cotton velvet as I think that can be stained by water.

Smart velvet or cotton my cat has zero interest unlike the wool fabric chair.

Yes, clip claws and encourage use of scratch post. Smart velvet is brilliant a mid grey colour is good. All the milk, mashed bananas etc will just wipe off. Marks , John lewis and Next have good selections. Not so much DFS or Furniture Village
