Bathroom tiles which aren't grey 'marble'

We're thinking about redoing our main bathroom next year. It's a fair size, currently 1990s fully tiled black fake marble lower, champagne? upper with gold-trimmed border tiles between.

Looking round the showrooms it seems as though the vast preponderance of tiles are marble effect, mostly either grey or yucky beigeish colours.... ok for a shower room or en-suite but just too grey for our tastes for a larger room.
There are some lovely blues and greens, but apparently only in quite small tile sizes, which I can't quite see working for the whole room either.

I quite like the look of these, but might be too much for a whole room and I think we want fully tiled again...

Does anyone have any ideas please?

I did a bathroom a few years ago using large-scale glass tiles (50x50cm) and it looked stunning. I can’t for the life of me remember where I got them from though….

These are gorgeous! Some nice ones here as well.

Take a look at Mandarin Stone's offering. They have shops so you can see tiles in real life as well as online.

We bought some porcelain terrazzo style tiles from them. Matt and in yellow but they have many colours. We put them on the floor and one wall. The other walls had plain off white tiles.

Also look at Fired Earth's website too.

N. B. Real terrazzo is made of cement and needs periodic sealing. Porcelain terrazzo is impervious.

Thanks... lots to look at though not yet found anything that quite hits the spot.

What sort of thing do you like? I've seen some fabulous green onyx tiles, but I like colour.

Colour - blues/teal/aqua - is what were after. I'm not keen on onyx effect that I've ever seen tbh.
It's how to use deep blueish tiles maybe with a paler colour which is eluding me I think, so they're not too much. And avoiding the 'antique public loo' effect that some smaller tiles conveys, if you know what I mean!

Ooooh those blue tiles are lovely! Could you combine the with white metro tiles as a contrast? I redid my bathroom with mostly big, grey concrete-industrial looking tiles, but then one 'feature' wall and an alcove in shimmery green mosaic. Wouldn't be to everyone's taste but it makes me happy every time I go in there.

What about no tiles apart from the areas that need it and maybe panelling instead
