We desperately need to replace our cream rug in the living room. It's tired and stained and when we move the footstool, it is two completely different colours!
We have two cats, a dog and a baby due 3 days ago, so although I think plain and cream suits the room best, it just isn't practical anymore.
I'm really not sure what to go for. I think plain blush or duck egg would be too much and too matchy matchy but I don't know. Was thinking something creamy with a blush or blue pattern in it but we'd have the same issue with it being mostly cream.
Also - low or high pile?
I'm also on statutory maternity pay so on a budget.
