Recently moved (about 4 months ago) and we have made good headway with decorating like painting etc however, the carpets are so old and need to be replaced really and the tiling in the bathrooms again is very old and magnolia vibe. Everywhere I look I tend to get different quotes for these two things and have also heard horror stories about it costing more than the quotes. Has anyone been through this recently and got a rough idea (appreciate that room sizing etc will obviously play a huge factor)
