Can anybody recommend any online companies for made to measure Roman blinds?

Dunelm have a fabric that I like but not sure about the quality of the blinds. I have bought roller blinds from Blinds Direct and they were ok, nothing special.

I've just had a roman blind made by Dunelm in one of their fabrics and I'm really pleased with it.

Blinds2go. I have their blinds on all my windows….no complaints and reasonably priced.

Spanglybangles · 30/10/2022 00:44

including romans.

Never tried them for this but John Lewis?

Thank you all.

i was going to splash out and get them made by a local interior design type place but the choice of fabric/colours wasn’t what I was after. They can make them up if I supply the fabric myself but I can get them done online for about half the price.

I’ve had Roman blinds made to measure by Dunelm and been really happy with them. If you like their fabric, I’d use them.

We had some Roman blinds from romanblindsdirect online, the fabric and construction was good but the mechanism used the string of plastic balls and is really noisy, the vibrations go through the window frame and we can hear them downstairs.

Does anyone have any Roman blinds with a quiet mechanism? Not sure what it is that makes the noise, but maybe blinds with a smooth cord, not the plastic balls?

Another vote for Blinds2go. Have a search on here, they're regularly recommended, very good choice of fabric and good prices (cheap compared to lots of others).

We used blinds2go in our old house and the romans never sat quite right at the top. Going for Hillary’s this time as it’s a much harder windows to fit and I want someone else responsible for the measurements!

Africa2go · 08/11/2022 12:40

Yes with Blinds2go you have to provide your own measurements so if you're not confident with that / its tricky to get an accurate measurement, it might not be the best option for you.

247 Blinds. Quality and fit always spot on

We always use TheBlindTailor for all our blinds... we opted for Roman Blinds and they have been great.
