Looking to get our ensuite done in the new year and am thinking about aquaboard instead of tiles. Is this a good idea? If it's a resounding yes, can you recommend a good supplier?

I'm sure it's a good idea in terms of minimal cleaning, but I would still choose tiles every time. I just think they look much nicer.

It’s wonderful. ( and aesthetically you can get ones that look like tiles if that’s your thing) I had it in our last house, 18 years without ever having to scrub the grout in the shower. It was a s good as new when we moved out.

I've just done our shower room here in a ( I think) lovely sparkling turquoise. I had the window sill and surround done too this time, as that also can get mildly in a hig moisture environment.
There are a lot of online suppliers, most of them sell the same thing! Don’t get the board that has MDF though ( says my plumber) just the single acrylic board.
its also cheaper to have installed and not impossible to DIY ( DH did last house).

i do not make or sell it, promise.

I have a friend who loves it. But honestly our tiles look much better and much more expensive/elegant.

I have it my en-suite. Calacatta marble Multipanel by Linda Barker. Really like it. Easy to clean, feels warm and smooth, looks amazing.

I also have it my holiday home. White metro tile effect bought online from plumbing supplier. Not so keen on this. It is also easy to clean but looks cheap and nasty. Reminds me of a caravan shower room. However it was a fraction of the cost of the other one.
