Has anyone had their kitchen cupboards sprayed?

I have a brand new kitchen that's only been in for a year, but the cupboards are a platinum grey and my biggest regret. I've had a really reasonable quote to have it hand painted/sprayed by a local guy who specialises in it and have seen lots of his work and all looks great, does do a proper job but just wondering how painted cupboards hold up long term? Do they chip? Fade? Has anyone had it done?

I have a couple of years ago. Went from pine to cream and it looks great. Done in a day.

We are thinking about getting this down. Can anyone recommend someone/ a company. We have a small baby so would ideally want it done off site and not in the house

We had ours spray painted about six years ago from original beech to ivory. All trims, doors and baseboards were removed and painted off site, while fixed panels were hand painted in situ. The effect is very good and we’ve only had a few very small chips which we’ve touched up. We are in South West.

Had ours done around 4 years ago, from beech effect to cornforth white, looks fab and hard to chip. A local car body spray lad did it super cheap for us and took all the doors away a few at a time.
