Stairs/Landing carpet recommendations

Need carpet for our stairs and landing including stairs to loft conversion. The bedrooms leading off have either grey or biscuit carpet. For that reason, we considered having one of those two colours but going off grey as worried it may go out of fashion soon after being so popular for so long! Considered a stripe to tie it all together, but some of bedroom doors are angled so worried the lines may run out iykwim. Some sort of textured/patterned carpet? Dunno. Walls are Dulux Timeless. Bannisters, doors & skirting natural wood.

picture doesn’t really bring out the subtle warm colour, but anyway works well for staircase and upstairs corridors.

I would go with a more biscuit colour and fleck for longevity as I agree grey is getting dated

Had carpets put on last year & shop said they sell 70pc plus grey! I went for a neutral colour with a fleck - Berber in my case

I think stripes are v ‘love it or hate it’, can you find a fleck of other small pattern combining biscuit & grey?

@Geminijust I've got a stripe which includes grey and biscuit colours however have got parquet in the hall.
