Would you combine curvy and angular furniture in a room?!

I’m thinking of getting a new sofa. The table and chairs in the living room are in curvy designs - no straight lines.

I’m undecided as to whether it would be best to have a sofa that’s curvy, to fit in with the other furniture, or whether an angular one would be nice for contrast, so that the different styles set each other off. What do you think?!

I think a contrast works best. We have a round coffee table and a round side table but also have a rectangular console and media hi-boy. You can pull the room together with colour and texture.

Contrast. Otherwise you risk it looking too matchy-matchy.
