We are wanting to get new curtains but I don’t like the ones which would go with our wall paper (and we want to change our settees in the January sale!) so I’m looking at a new wallpaper. We currently have a Laura Ashley blue / duck egg bird one and it was a buggar to put up (DH has rebuilt cars / helped build a house but apparently trying to match up the wall paper pushed him to his limits!).
I’ve seen this one which looks relatively simple in design, and would go with the sort of couch I would like. My question is, what colour curtains / pillows would you match with it? Is Laura Ashley a good wallpaper to go with? We’ve had our current one for about 3 years and the bottom part of the wallpaper has rubbed off where the dog likes to hide behind the settee…).
The rest of the room is painted in “English Lace” which I don’t really want to change as it is a lovely, warmer magnolia.we only have one wall which is wallpapered - still stuck in the “feature wall” phase!
Any advice with regards to colours / wallpapers would be great 😊
