Thermal curtains

Does anyone have a good source for these for a tall Victorian window? The drop is 3 metres. I'd like not too expensive (I thought I'd found some but then saw they were £300, which I'd rather not have to pay); a plain colour, ideally darkish neutral/cocoa-brown; not bothered about fabric really, as long as it looks nice; tab-top or eyelet.

TIA.

If you like your existing curtains it is possible to add additional lining fabric.

Thank you! Not sure they're wide enough but I can't go and measure them just now.

That's an interesting idea, thank you! Do you buy it yourself and get an alterations place to make them up?

You can buy them ready made - John Lewis, dunelm etc

I'm just not finding any long enough/affordable enough. Have tried both of those, plus a site called Curtains4U or something, and Habitat, eBay etc.

You can buy ready made thermal linings that are 229 long in Dunelm. Is the window 3m? Or would linings most of the way work? You can get them for eyelet and pencil pleat curtains.
Think it's harder for tab top.

They linings just clip into the existing fittings. Pencil pleat you hook them together. Eyelet, I think you add a hidden ring somewhere.

The current curtains are 3m and touch the floor, which I think thermal ones need to to be effective? So I think I need 3m of thermal lining.
They're tab-top but I'm assuming that most eyelet ones would work as I think I have fairly standard, ie not over-thick, curtain poles.

Ah, OK, didn't know that. Thanks!

I ordered made to measure from the company above. Not too expensive, lots of choice and great service.
