I'd like to paint our living room a darkish blue, I think it can take it. It's a rectangular shape, with a decent size sash window at the front and patio doors with a decent amount of glass either side at the back, South West facing to the patios.
Karndean American Oak parquet floor (pic off internet for colour swatch). I'd like a green wall but DH isn't fond and loves blue so a compromise is a blue. Do we go full on stiffkey blue or a blue with a hint of green? We have relatively new Navy velvet curtains which I'd like to keep but I don't mind a contrast. Any other furniture is oak or pale sofas. Any suggestions helpfully received.
