What colour valance and fitted sheet would you put with it? Walls are light grey and curtains are dark grey as is the headboard.

I'd go for a mustard yellow kind of colour. I like the other suggestions mentioned too though - any colour in the duvet set would be fine I think.

I’d go for mustard too. I use mustard with my dark purple and greige set.

Good grief, OP! As someone who dresses in black and has a home of neutrals (I find it soothing), that is a real onslaught of colour! Go for it; it’s your room! 🎨

I think you could pick any of the colours out of it and it would work. Blue/green/pink/red or mustard yellow. Just pick the colour you like best!

@NellesVilla if you knew me you would be surprised I've chosen this as I am very similar to how you have described yourself!! My clothing choices are black, grey and navy blue 😂 Most of home is very neutral but I wanted something nice and bright in the bedroom so I think I've found it!!

@America12 we have a divan bed so without a valance it would look horrible I think.

Mustard or dark blue, no valance, I'd rather a bare divan than a valance.

I use a duvet at least a size larger than the bed so the base is seldom seen, actually I do this even on the nice new beds because I like the effect, and I've just realised there are lovely new beds in all rooms except mine!!!

I would use the same colour as the headboard. That way you can use the same valance with lots of different duvet covers.
