We are redecorating a room to be used as a hobby room (music mostly) and a den for DS to game with his friends.
It’s a blank canvas at the moment- it’s been a junk room since we moved.
Floor will be American oak herring bone, furniture probably white, sofa dark green velvet. There’s a big chrome and black drum kit.
It’s a due north facing room with a large window. It has lovely high ceilings.
We’ve agreed a shade of white on most of the walls but want a coloured wall too, the one where the white furniture will be.
One of us wants a very dark green (F&B studio green for example) and the other wants orange (eg F&B Charlotte’s Locks).
Given the north facing nature of the room does anyone have an opinion which colour will look good? I don’t want it to be too dark but equally don’t want a washed out orange.
