Asbestos worries!

House was built in 1900- our survey suggested there might be asbestos in the artex ceilings but we're leaving them alone. I've been stripping off manky textured wallpaper then suddenly thought what if the plaster has asbestos in..particularly when I got to the utility which under the wallpaper looks like this..any advice from anyone who has a similar age property?

That just looks like standard anaglypta wallpaper to me.

The green stuff is wallpaper, its the white glittery stuff underneath I'm worried about, not sure if its plaster as its so thin and not consistent on the walls

We did a test kit and it was negative for asbestos 🙂

I had a specialist asbestos company do one a few years ago they took two samples and it came back negative but then it comes on news and I worry again in case they just scraped off bits that didn’t have it! Need to get a grip and stop reading, every couple of yesrs, threads like this!
