What colour sofa to go with grey sofa?

We have recently moved and have a lounge that is larger than in our previous house. Thinking about colour scheme for the lounge but want to keep the small light grey corner sofa and add another sofa. Anyone added a sofa of a different colour that works well? Currently have mustard cushions but not wedded to those! Not found anything inspiring on Pinterest so far……

Are you painting the walls/changing the carpet/hard floor, if not what colours are they?

Yes we will be painting the walls - so option to have a feature wall same colour as new sofa? And will be putting in wood flooring - bit of a blank canvas to work with. Room gets lots of light. Only feature that we’ll keep is a stone fire surround as can’t afford to change that and it is fine

We have a grey sofa with mustard cushions and a navy sofa with navy feature wall. I think most colours would go with grey.

Yes navy or teale both on my list of options- was wondering whether it would be too dark. Think a mustard sofa would be too much mustard?!

We have a grey sofa and a blue sofa... that works but we'd now like a lilac sofa. Lilac works well with grey and lifts the room I think.

Don't buy a sofa to match existing cushions. Cushions can easily be changed.
Decide first what your colour scheme will be, and get a sofa to suit that. Your existing grey sofa will go with most colours.

Grey and bright green. Perhaps a brighter green then Waitrose ? (how MN!)

Grey, bright pink and mustard yellow cushions??! That would be fun. Probably a bit OTT.

DSis bought a gorgeous fuschia pink sofa to go with her grey one.
