Fake flowers

Has anyone any suggestions on where to buy nice fake flowers, please? The ones I see in shops always look rubbishly fake, whereas I’ve seen nice ones in people’s houses but don’t want to be weird and ask where they’re from!
thanks

Abigail Ahern. Not cheap but very good. And 15% off when you sign up to emails etc.

I have some Abigal Ahern flowers. They look fab and she has a big variety.

I got some lovely ones in John Lewis recently, if you are anywhere near London their flagship store has a display set up like a traditional florist, meaning you can pick and chose the flowers you want yourself, as well as pre-made bouquets. FWIW I find some varieties of flowers look much better as fakes than others: poppies, hydrangeas, nigellas and sweet peas seem to be easier to fake than others.

Thank you. I’d never heard of Neptune or Abigail Ahern before and both look to have some beautiful stuff. I’ll have a browse this evening. Thanks x

I have some from Dunelm, IKEA and B&M but all carefully picked to look as realistic as possible. Blooming Artificial are good too - we have their hydrangea stems in our outdoor pots

Someone genuinely thought my mint plant was real and until they rubbed the leaves to smell it.

A friend bought a lot from Neptune.

I've found some lovely silk ones on Etsy but you could also look at dried flower arrangements. Bunny tails are my favourite can be dyed any colour. I also have a milk bottle full of craspedia (yellow ball shaped flowers).

There's a recent guardian article with links

OKA. Coat a fortune, but they're the best by miles.

I love the wooden tulips by Martin Jones, they're beautifully made, look amazing and don't fade in the sun.
