How to decorate this space?

We have a cream corner sofa opposite this wall which isn’t in the photo😊

A TV will be placed on this wall. It’s a Samsung frame TV which masquerades as wall art. Unsure if I should add other picture frames next to it as the wall is a bit plain.

Ideally I would like a new rug and a coffee table but unsure what to go for. It’s a small space

I’m not sure you need much more as it doesn’t look like it’s an enormous space that ‘needs’ filling. I think you’ll know whether wall photos are needed once the TV is up but I doubt it. You may want more plants, books etc but I quite like a minimal non cluttered look.

I’d personally add a rug with a bit of colour as step one (skip the coffee table) and then see if it needs anything else.

Thank you both. I do like a minimal look but need a table or end table nearby for drinks etc when people are sat on the sofa. The nearest flat surfaces are the floor or windowsill which aren’t ideal
