What colour door curtain?

I don't really have an eye for decorating or colours etc, so I'm not really sure what will look best.

Our house is open plan downstairs and there is a regular wooden internal door that opens into the enclosed porch which was added on sometime before we moved in. The porch is not well insulated, and so the door lets in a lot of cold air. We are thinking of getting a door curtain, but I'm not sure what colour would be best.
About a metre along from the door is the main living room window which is very large, and we have the below curtains on that. I don't think we can get this fabric as a door curtain so what colour would be best? The living room has a green carpet which we hate and are replacing with laminate, and a pale blue wall which we'll probably keep.
I don't know whether to go for a door curtain similar to the window? Or contrasting? It's mainly for warmth and will probably be taken down over summer, but I'd still like it to look nice.

Put the door curtain on the external door. This will help make the porch less cold. Dunelm do thermal door curtains. If you have a letter box it can be insulated too.

Have you got a brush thingy on the bottom of both doors? I think that would do more than a curtain.

It would probably look best if it matches the sitting room curtain, why not go for that?

The porch walls are pretty crap, I wasn't sure if putting the curtain on the external door would make enough of a difference. But it's definitely an option.

I can't find the fabric as an option for made to measure curtains, and I don't want to buy a full length pair of curtains to just use one.

Sorry, I meant that as reasons why I couldn't use that fabric (don't want to buy a pair, can't find it as just fabric). In an idea world I'd find a ready made single door curtain in a good colour to use.

Door curtains make a huge difference. If it were me and a single was big enough, I would buy a pair and put one on the porch door, 1 inside.

If you like cream curtains I'm not the one to ask. I like bold and bright. I certainly wouldn't try to match. I would go heavy velvet ideally.

EBay and etsy both have ready made single curtains. Or you could use clips and a blanket.

Dunlem do them, I’d choose one similar to your sitting room.
But I’d focus on insulating the door first.

You need a proper door , not an internal door, onto the porch. More expensive, but the real solution. I speak from experience!
