If anyone has painted their walls Joa's White - what curtains do you have?
We've decided to paint our house mostly Joa's White / Dimity as the vast majority is North facing but still light & airy as big windows and high ceilings. We'll need 2 pairs of 3m long curtains for the living room, so looking at made to measure but having a total nightmare finding a reasonably priced nice fabric that fits with the scheme (I found a fabric on Jane Clayton but 2 pairs of full length curtains came out at £4,500 😱). We definitely have to have curtains and will need something fairy thick for winter. Ideally I'd like something that is in the same taupe-y / warm ivory colour palette - not too yellow based creamy or white, bit of texture, neutral as will be a massive investment, reasonably price eg around the £1,000 - £2,000 not £4,500 mark! So far, have looked at John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Susie Watson and Jane Clayton. We're waiting for Jim Lawrence samples. Everything we've had is two creamy (yellowy), white, or greyish. Also, looking at Etsy with the possibility of DMil making them for us.
We've never bought made to measure curtains and appreciate this is very much a first world problem but any help would be hugely appreciated ❤️
